Our client, an e-commerce startup company was facing a challenge to test and release their hybrid mobile app in a short span of time. The complexity was to ensure the app was tested across different mobile devices operating under different versions of the OS in multiple languages. The ask was a thorough app testing that had to be performed quickly and reliably.

Using Synergy’s proprietary ASTRA Framework, we reviewed the client’s requirements and proposed ‘Automated Testing’ being the best way to achieve the goal of maximum coverage within a limited time.
The solution for this specific problem was delivered by leveraging a ‘Cloud-based’ mobile device virtualization platform where write-once, run-many approach was adopted. By writing the test scripts once and utilizing them to run on multiple devices, we addressed the challenge of broader coverage very quickly.
